TaxI Gallery 2002 - 2011
A black cab (not a white cube) in my council estate front garden, Cambridge UK. Over 30 artists installed work in response to its iconic space. Taxi Gallery also hosted seasonal and participatory installations, live performances, magnetic community message board, a garden and an FM radio station before finally leaving for its onward life as a banger racer. My role was care-taker throughout. Below is the briefest of glimpses.
