Propaganda Palimpsests for Ukraine
On March 10 2022 I began drawing over Soviet Union propaganda posters, purchased in Kiev in 1978. This was my small act of solidarity with the courageous defiance of the Ukrainian people. I had hoped that the war would have ended in peace before I completed these drawings but very sadly as of June 27th, the final poster completed, the war continues.
